Meijer is hosting a job fair Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 to hire 400 new people in Greater Cincinnati. The retailer is looking to hire dozens of people at each of its 11 stores in southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Potential candidates can go to any location to apply for available positions and be interviewed. The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Full- and part-time positions are available, including cashiers, third-shift stockers, meat cutters, cake decorators and department team leaders.

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A job fair took place Wednesday, October 19, to help lift people in our community from poverty. Cincinnati Works hosted the job fair at the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority on Western Avenue but it was open to the public. At least 18 employers were there looking to hire, including Fifth Third Bank, Children's Hospital, Kroger and Jack Casino. Cincinnati Works says it's a local nonprofit organization that goes beyond linking people in poverty and employers by providing its non-paying clients ongoing support services. The organization hosts a couple of job fairs throughout the year.
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The Cincinnati Public School District is looking for new teachers. They're holding a job fair Saturday to fill positions. The event runs from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Woodward Career Technical High School at Reading Road and Seymour Avenue in Bond Hill. Prospective teachers will have a chance to visit with principals and staff from schools throughout the district. There will also be on-site interviews with qualified candidates from 1 to 4 p.m.
In September, 2014, the Social Enterprise Alliance-Greater Cincinnati Regional Chapter hosted their first "BUY SOCIAL" Fair On The Square. Presented as a Lunch & Learn Event, Social Enterprises throughout Cincinnati and Northern KY set up shop to display their products and services. It was a windy day, but a wonderful opportunity to showcase these businesses/organizations that focus on building an economy on purpose.
